Towing Inflatables Warning
Wakeboard towers are NOT suitable for towing inflatables. Towers are designed for low drag water sports such as Wakeboard, Water Ski, Knee boards only. Do not use a wakeboard towers to tow inflatables or other vessels, doing so will risk injury or death as well as damage to boat and tower.
The lift and height that a tower is designed to provide, is highly dangerous if used with inflatable tubes, the height will create huge lift risking tube becoming airborne and this could cause serious injury to the rider.
Boats will have at least one strong point at the stern for towing heavier / high drag items. It may also have a lower level tow point using a transform eye for towing inflatables, please refer to the boats manufacturer’s instructions.
