So, with everyone feeling like they had been doing the Hokey Cokey for the last year whilst living with Covid, it felt liberating to be hitting the road ( ROAD TRIP !) and not just the garden path, headed to the coast, our spiritual home at Jet Ski Wavefest 2021 at the fantastic Watergate Bay in Ilfracombe, North Devon.
It was the few days that jet skiers had been craving, and even though numbers at the event weren’t what they were pre covid,
it still drew Jet Skiers from around the country with plenty to enjoy, the highlight - a Jet Ski Safari along north Devon coast, taking in Minehead, Ilfracombe harbor, Croyde bay, and the long sandy beach of Saunton Sands-stopping of in Woolacombe to play in the surf
And after an exciting day?……. well, we’d settle in the at the campsite, where we’d chat with some familiar faces and make new friends, all around the soft glowing embers of the campfires
As if this all wasn’t exciting enough! I have to mention a personal highlight for us, which was getting to demonstrating the new Kicker designed speakers….couldn’t imagine place to showcase these!
