Towing Inflatables Warning
Attention: Users of Wakeboard Towers and InflatableTowables
Please be aware that Wakeboard towers are NOT suitable for towing inflatables or other vessels. These towers are specifically designed for low drag water sports such as Wakeboard, Water Ski, and Kneeboarding only. Misusing a wakeboard tower to tow inflatables or other vessels poses significant risks and can result in severe injury or even death, as well as potential damage to your boat and the tower itself.
The lift and height capabilities of wakeboard towers are highly dangerous when used with inflatable tubes. The increased height can create excessive lift, causing the inflatable tube to become airborne. This airborne situation significantly increases the risk of serious injury to the rider.
For towing heavier or high drag items, boats are equipped with at least one strong point at the stern. It is crucial to utilize this designated tow point for towing such items. Additionally, some boats may have a lower level tow point specifically designed for towing inflatables, utilising a transform eye. We strongly advise referring to the instructions provided by your boat's manufacturer to determine the appropriate tow points and procedures.
Your safety and the safety of others on the water is of utmost importance. Please adhere to these warnings and guidelines to avoid any potential damage to the tower, boat accidents. Ignoring these precautions can have severe consequences. please refer to the boats manufacturer’s instructions.
