This premium pedestal features a hydraulic spring-type shock absorber that absorbs impact and minimises vibration, providing a softer, more stable ride. The adjustable shock absorber pressure can be fine-tuned using the included Allen keys, allowing you to easily control the up-and-down movement to suit your preferred comfort level.
The damping adjustment knob lets you set how quickly the piston shaft compresses and rebounds within the damper bod giving you the choice between a firmer or more relaxed suspension feel. For best performance and longevity, we recommend keeping the damping setting towards the slower range to reduce pressure on both the body and adjustment knob.
Height adjustment is simple and precise, with 20mm incremental adjustments available. Just remove the shock absorber from the top and base plates and reposition it into the pre-drilled holes for your ideal seating height.
Built for strength and corrosion resistance, this pedestal is manufactured from marine-grade aluminium. ensuring long-lasting performance even in harsh marine environments. The top plate is pre-drilled, making it compatible with most boat seats and other popular seat models.
